The need for education and a strong support network for both people with cancer and their families and friends is vital in the lead up to, during and post cancer treatment.
Research has shown that maintaining a regular exercise routine along with a healthy, balanced diet throughout treatment can have many positive effects, from improving energy, mood and cognition, to preserving muscle mass and helping manage side effects of treatment. These can all contribute to improved patient recovery.
Patients will participate in initial consultations with an Exercise Physiologist and Nutritionist/Dietitian to determine the most effective treatment pathway. Patient-centred care is a key component of all Brellah programs, and we will ensure you are always included in your treatment options.
