Physiotherapy As part of a multidisciplinary health and fitness team, our physiotherapists are here to support you as you take on injury, illness or disability. They’ll work with you to improve your body through exercise and movement.

Our physiotherapists are trained to diagnose and treat patients through the use of manual techniques including mobilisation, soft tissue release, stretching, proprioceptive training and functional rehabilitation. They can help with chronic disease management, providing lifestyle modification and self-management advice, prescribe and supervise exercises for both patients and carers, and provide health promotion education, occupational health assessments and injury prevention activities.

Physiotherapists can help treat a range of chronic conditions, often as part of multidisciplinary teams. They are trained to design individual programs of care that help address risk factors arising from co-morbidities and physical limitations in people with chronic conditions.

When should I see a physiotherapist?
