Dr Mehrabady is a specialist geriatrician and consultant physician with extensive clinical experience. He completed his specialist training in geriatric medicine at the Prince of Wales, Wollongong, Blacktown, and Norwest hospitals, gaining valuable experience across all aspects of the care of older adults.
Dr Mehrabady’s particular interests include perioperative care, orthogeriatric care, and falls prevention in older adults. Beyond this, his expertise encompasses the management of complex medical conditions, including the diagnosis and treatment of dementia, behavioural disorders related to dementia, delirium, osteoporosis, frailty, depression, and other age-related mental health disorders.
Outside of his clinical work with Brellah Narellan, Dr Mehrabady is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and also serves as a college examiner. In addition, he is an examiner for the Australian Medical Council, assessing overseas-trained doctors seeking to work or maintain their working rights in Australia. He was the lead researcher on a published paper investigating cerebral glucose metabolism in delirium versus early Alzheimer’s dementia, benefiting the wider medical community with a deeper understanding of the nature and pathophysiology of delirium.
Dr Mehrabady takes a holistic approach to his care, understanding that good health encompasses not only physical health but also psychosocial and functional aspects.

Dr Harry Wu is a dedicated and caring geriatrician who specialises in the health and wellbeing of older adults. He provides warm, patient-centred care, focusing on the whole person. Partnering with his patients, Harry provides specialist input across all aspects of geriatric medicine, with advanced expertise in the following challenges commonly encountered in general practice:
- Memory care and cognitive decline: Providing early assessment and management for memory concerns, confusion, or cognitive deterioration.
- Falls and reduced mobility: Investigating falls to identify contributing factors, improve balance, address bone health, and support independence.
- Frailty and functional decline: Offering a comprehensive evaluation of frailty with targeted strategies to maintain strength, resilience, and wellbeing.
- Safe medication management: Conducting expert reviews to reduce medication complexity, manage interactions, and mitigate side effects that may worsen frailty or cognition.

Harry is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), having completed his specialist training at Royal North Shore Hospital. To ensure his patients receive modern, cutting-edge care, he undertook advanced PhD training in geriatric medicine and translational ageing research at the Kolling Institute of Medical Research and Royal North Shore Hospital. This extensive experience, combined with collaborations with leading international experts, allows him to bring the latest medical research directly into his clinical practice. His research has been published in numerous prestigious international medical journals, and he is a co-author of international medical textbooks on geriatric medicine and gerontology. This ensures his care is not only based on established best practices but also incorporates the most scientifically up-to-date treatments tailored to each person’s unique needs.
Harry works closely with his patients, their families, and general practitioners to develop a comprehensive and personalised care plan. His holistic approach involves collaborating closely with other allied health professionals here at Brellah, including our dietitian, exercise physiologist, and psychologist. Harry’s commitment is to protect and enhance health, dignity, and quality of life, ensuring every patient feels heard and supported on their health journey.

Davina is an internationally-trained accredited exercise physiologist with specialised experience in working with senior patients living with chronic conditions, including diabetes and arthritis.
Davina’s extensive clinical experience includes providing care in residential aged care facilities, conducting hydrotherapy sessions, and running group balance classes. She works closely with patients living with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as those with cognitive impairment, tailoring her management strategies to optimise patient outcomes.
Throughout her career, Davina has honed her skills in falls prevention and balance training for aged care residents, with a focus on safe exercise prescription to improve mobility and wellbeing. Her patient-centred approach to care is rooted in holistic methods and the belief that movement is medicine, regardless of age or diagnosis. Her methodology incorporates function over intensity to improve quality of life through compassionate and individualised care.

Davina’s passion for health and fitness extends beyond her professional life to her personal pursuits as an Australian and international beach sprint champion. She is a life member of the Coledale Surf Club, and features on the Surf Life Saving Australia Masters Legends Hall of Fame.

Dr Premachandra is an internationally-trained geriatrician with extensive experience in caring for older patients. After completing her medical training at St Vincent’s Hospital and Liverpool Hospital in Sydney, she further refined her skillset with a 12-month clinical fellowship in the innovative and award-winning Perioperative Medicine for Older People Undergoing Surgery (POPS) program at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust in London.
Her specialised expertise is in the management of cognitive impairment and dementia, as well as frailty, and falls and fracture prevention. In addition to these critical aspects of geriatrics, Dr Premachandra’s training enables her to offer geriatric-specific care for older patients undergoing a wide range of both elective and emergency surgical procedures. She is passionate about supporting surgical teams through shared decision-making and individualised perioperative management plans guided by the latest research and evidence, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. In addition to caring for patients at Brellah, Dr Premachandra currently holds the position of staff specialist geriatrician at St Vincent’s (public) hospital in Sydney in the Department of Geriatric Medicine.
Extending past her clinical work, she is dedicated to advancing clinical governance, having presented at numerous international conferences and contributed to medical research in both Australia and London.

Jessica Ward

Experience and expertise
Jessica is an experienced dietitian with advanced expertise in the specialised areas of kidney disease, geriatrics, and diabetes. She has also worked extensively with patients living with conditions relating to cancer, heart failure, liver disease, and gastroenterology.
She has worked across both community and in-patient hospital environments, including in rural locations such as Nowra and Orange, NSW. Her achievements include caring for patients as the senior renal dietitian at St Vincent’s Hospital, during which she had the opportunity to extend her training with the comprehensive Renal Nutrition Program at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. In addition to her expertise in renal nutrition, Jessica has also completed the Albion Centre’s Nutrition in Liver Disease course, and holds further certifications in mental health first aid and prescribing a low FODMAP diet for patients with irritable bowel syndrome.
A key achievement of Jessica’s experience so far is contributing to the pivotal research publication on nutritional care in oncology – Factors affecting dietary progression post cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy at St George Hospital.
Over the years of caring for the complex nutritional needs of patients with mental ill-health and chronic disease, she has developed an intimate understanding of the barriers involved in achieving her patients’ nutrition goals. Her focus is on developing a patient-centred, collaborative approach that empowers her patients to make sustainable changes to their diet, with positive impacts on their quality of life.

When not consulting in the clinic, Jessica spends her time as a yoga instructor and also loves rock climbing.
