Natasha Leader

I am an experienced Accredited Practising Dietitian and have spent a wealth of time in a variety of different settings including tertiary care hospitals, private practice and in the rural community.

I specialise in the management of diabetes and am also a qualified diabetes educator.  A lot of my work is in the antenatal area- helping women optimise their health before, during and after their pregnancies.  In addition to these specialist areas I also have lots of experience in weight management including obesity surgery, gastroenterology, organ transplant and cancer services.

As well as the time I spend with patients and clients, I also am involved at times in various research projects and provide education sessions for general practitioners and other health professionals.  I also reside as ‘in-kitchen dietitian’ for www.gestationaldiabetesrecipes.com which is a world-first site providing information, support and recipes for women with gestational diabetes.
