FRACP, FHEA, GAICD, MSc, MBBS, BSc
Dr Hohenberg completed his medical degree at University College London, part of the University of London, before moving to Australia in 2008. Here, he completed his specialist training in Sydney. His practice is devoted to diagnosing and treating older patients with age-related diseases to support their independence. Dr Hohenberg also supports younger patients with age-related conditions and for promotion of longevity and lifespan.
In addition to his clinical practice at our Brellah clinics in Narellan and Caringbah, Dr Hohenberg works in several other positions as an academic in an honorary position with Western Sydney University, research with groups across Universities in Australia and internationally, clinical and corporate governance in and outside of the healthcare sector, and in medicolegal expert opinions. He has contributed to multiple clinical trials as a principal investigator.
Dr Hohenberg’s primary goal in consultations is to support understanding of what is happening, and the enabling of patients, carers, and families to be supported with decision-making, in what is known as patient-centred care. Dr Hohenberg is also a strong advocate for integrated health, which is the effective collaboration of health professionals to improve the healthcare of our patients and community. He achieves this by effective communication with all health practitioners involved, from general practitioners to physiotherapists and other allied health professionals.
Dr Hohenberg provides in-person care at our Narellan and Caringbah locations. Telehealth options are also available.
