Angela completed her geriatric medicine training in the greater Sydney area before being accepted as a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2008. She has provided care within the southwest Sydney health service for over 15 years in multidisciplinary, acute, and community settings.
Angela has been instrumental in shaping and enhancing the delivery of aged care in the public sector throughout Sydney, including the development of a multidisciplinary clinic for patients with cancer and frailty, as well as a multidisciplinary falls clinic for older patients in the community.
Among other aspects of comprehensive geriatric care, Angela provides general geriatric assessments, including falls and cognition, advance care planning, and medication reviews. She is passionate about optimising the quality of life for her patients through individualised care plans and education for both her patients and their families/carers. Her expertise encompasses management of complex, co-existing medical conditions, function and mobility, mood, nutrition, and enabling her patients to maintain or improve independence.
